This workshop is produced by the American Nurse Credentialing Center's Institute for Credentialing Innovation.
The workshop gives an overview of the evolution of the Pathway to Excellence program, goes into detail about each of the practice standards, and explains the application process. As the home of the Pathway to Excellence Program, ANCC has the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding this program.
Learning Objectives
Within the context of your organization:
- Discuss the history of the Pathway to Excellence
- Discuss examples and sources of support for the 12 Practice Standards
- Describe the Pathway to Excellence Nurse Survey requirement
- Develop a self-assessment plan that includes strategies to help create the Pathway to Excellence work environment
Contact hours will be awarded to nurses who successfully complete this activity.
Continental breakfast and registration is from 7:30am to 8am. The workshop ends at 5:00 pm so plan arrival and departure to ensure attendance at entire workshop.
